This classic Bornholm liqueur for the lunch table is sweetened with generous amounts of local honey. The quantity is revealed by its beautiful golden color, indicating a product rooted in older times when the diet largely consisted of smoked and salted food that needed a sweet contrast.
Made based on our own aquavit, the light caraway flavor is accompanied by aromatic late summer honey, which is deep and complex in taste.
The honey was freshly harvested in early autumn 2023 by Birthe and Poul-Erik Kristoffersen.
