In 2017, when Martin Kofoed first established his small distillery in Rønne, he called it Østersøens Brænderi. As the demand for his gin spread abroad, the name was less suitable, therefore we changed it to Bornholm Distillery. But our production is still located in the distillery in Rønne. And we are still driven by Martin’s ambition to develop gin of outstanding quality and revive the proud liquor traditions of Bornholm. Martin was born and raised in the island, and he is imbued with a life-long love of the history and landscapes of Bornholm. This you taste in our craft liquor.
